One of the first questions people ask me when introducing myself as a mortgage agent is “how long have you been in the industry?”
After 8 grateful years as Mobile Mortgage Advisor, I decided that the best way to serve my clients is to give them more options. I’m the type of person that likes to roll up my sleeves and get to work. I also have a difficult time letting things go, I guess you can say that’s how I treat my client’s applications at Dream Key Mortgage.
I have 13 years experience in the mortgage industry in a fast paced environment, not many brokers can say the same. I like to make things as seamless as possible for my clients while finding the best possible solution. Exploring different lenders instead of finding the first one that sticks. To me it’s important to take a step back and put myself in my client’s shoes and ask myself, is this the right product for me? What are my short/long term goals, does this 5 year fixed term make sense? In order to be accountable, you have to be knowledgeable and in order to have faith you need to trust the person who’s dealing with one of the biggest financial decisions of your life.
Mark and I started this company because we love what we do and we want to make sure our clients are in good hands. Long lasting relationships is what we strive for.
So If you ask me how long I’ve been in this industry... I’d say long enough to know it’s not just an approval, it’s your Dream Key.
